Reconvening to review the options, it was evident that the solution was going to have to match the true size of the problem. Fortunately, the comprehensive strategy I’d identified with a reworked logo, brand design toolkit, and presentation materials were up to the task.
The underlying need was a brand-centric design toolkit. Building a library of graphic elements freed the Creative team to actually design while maintaining a harmonious branded aesthetic. The key was tweaking the logo to have favorable forms to exploit. Secondarily, it was essential to find a typeface compatible with the logo and readily available for use across digital executions. For this, I selected Linotype’s Avenir Next.
